David R. Morawski, MD, FAAOS

Dr. David Morawski is a board-certified physician who specializes in orthopedic surgery and total joint replacement. He has been performing knee and hip replacements for over 25 years, and is the leading expert in anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive muscle sparing same day total knee replacement, and joint revision surgery in the Northwest suburbs.

Patient-oriented, comprehensive care is at the forefront of Dr. Morawski’s treatment plan. He uses a variety of nonsurgical treatment methods including activity modification, medication, physical therapy, bracing, injections and pain management. Biologics for treatment of arthritis including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments are also used.

For patients having knee surgery, Dr. Morawski uses minimally invasive quadriceps sparing arthroplasty to allow patient to return home just hours after surgery. For patients having shoulder surgery, he performs both standard and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty if rotator cuff is incompetent.
