I arrived for my appt early to avoid storm warnings with high wind & flooding expected today. The Riverhead office was able to see me at the time I arrived, the staff - as always was friendly and helpful. I think Dr. Poon is a wonderful, reassuring doctor and always explains what he's doing, what it means and I got a great report of improved eye condition with my diabetic retinopathy. So glad I can see him in this convenient location. And - yay - no need to go back until a six month break.

Answers all questions. Gives me feeling that he REALLY cares. Not just about getting to the next patient. Not many docs today ask “how is your family?” He is a class act. Would highly recommend him. A prime example of what and how a doctor should act.

I was insulted by this doctor who was arrogant; my appointment was to consult whether this group could continue my treatment of my Retina Vein Occulsion; my specialist had left Long Island and had treated me with kindness and top medicines and anaesthia because I am highly allergic to medicine...You lost me a possible patient because of this docttor and I will never recommend him to anyone

Insanely thorough and double checked everything, he caught my lattice degeneration early before it became a serious issue i.e. before too much fluid got through. Was able to get it lasered shortly after via nonsurgury treatment
