He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 1995. From there he attended Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and graduated with AOA honors in 1999. He completed his urology residency at Ochsner / LSU in 2004. After practicing in South Carolina for 2 years he moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and practiced for 18 years. Dr. Owens joined Urology Associates in 2024.

Very good demeanor with patients. He listen to his patients. He explains test results and plan of care thoroughly.
He ask if I have any questions.
I am very satisfied with Dr. Owens. His office staff and nursing are very professional as well. They make you feel like a guest. Kudos to the entire staff!

Dr Owens is very friendly and takes an interest in his patients. That’s why I am willing to travel for almost an hour to go see him. He has been my doctor for years and I trust his judgment. I am comfortable about talking to him on sensitive matters concerning my health.
