From there he attended Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and graduated with AOA honors in 1999. He completed his urology residency at Ochsner / LSU in 2004. After practicing in South Carolina for 2 years he moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and practiced for 18 years. Dr. Owens joined Urology Associates in 2024.

Experienced, well mannered, listens to the patient and takes the time to answer any questions you have. He literally sits and draws out a diagram that helps explain things. I’ve been a patient of his for years and wouldn’t have anyone else.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids as well as building boats and flying planes.
