Dr Ott performed my rotator cuff surgery in 2010. No problem after 12 years! I brought him my knee pain due to a fall problem, he explained what he saw. He said there is some tearing and some swelling and some age related arthritis He saw nothing to indicate that surgery was required. He recommended a cortisone injection, to which I agreed. Let’s see how the cortisone injection goes. I want to give a shout out to his assistant, Jessica. She’s very professional and efficient. Thank you Jess!!

Didn’t seem to want to hear other issues/concerns besides the one at hand. Felt a bit rushed and I spent more time waiting to see him than with him. Asked his PA more questions because of it.

I have nothing but good to say about OrthoArizona! In need of hip replacement surgery due to worn out cartilage allowing bone on bone contact, my doctor referred me to Dr. David Ott at the OrthoArizona Phoenix office. From the moment of scheduling an appointment with Dr. Ott to throughout the surgery, during overnight hospital care, follow up calls and visits, everyone I talked to and dealt with were nothing but pleasant, caring and top notch professionals. My intense pain was gone immediately and within 2 weeks I was regularly taking one and a half mile walks! Now, 6 weeks following surgery, I am back up to continuously walking three or more miles per day with my wife at a decent pace! Due to the intense bone on bone pain, I had not been able to do these walks with my wife for the last 6 months prior to surgery. I am amazed at how well the surgery turned out and feel like I have a life again! Dr. Ott is truly a great hip replacement surgeon! Thanks so much!

Fantastic Surgeon!! I had my left hip replaced on 6-15-21 by Dr. Ott at Oasis hospital in Phx. If you are on the fence about hip replacement, have no fears with this procedure when you have this man doing you're surgery. From my first office visit to post op appointment his people have been in contact with me regularly checking up on my recovery. Surgery went exactly the way the Dr. described it. Like Dr Ott a lot and his experience in the field. But was disappointed in the seeming lack of information esp. about (factual) post operative expectations. And that there would be pain (albeit much better than the pre op pain) that may persist even after a knee replacement.

Doctor Ott performed an anterior hip replacement for me in November 2019. The surgery, and the amazing Oasis hospital and staff was wonderful. My recover was speedy and I was back to my normal life quickly. Yesterday Doctor Ott saw me for an ACL Rupture. The visit included a very informative exchange and a roadmap as to next steps. He is just the Doctor I need for potentially life changing medical decisions and surgeries.

Great surgeon!! Dr. Ott quickly diagnosed my hip issue but did not pressure me to have replacement surgery. When I was ready (1 year later) he did the surgery and all went well. I feel very fortunate that he was my surgeon.

My new knee from Dr. Ott is fantastic! I am a competitive skier and was on the slopes after 9-months post-op. The only way I knew I'd had a knee replacement was I no longer had knee pain or instability! Physical Therapy was hard work, but VERY IMPORTANT and definitely worth it. It's true when they say you should wait as long as possible, but afterward you wish you done it sooner! p.s. My scar is beautiful - they did a great job!
