From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by friendly and professional staff members. Each staff we encountered during our visit was extremely helpful and utilized their cell phones to get a Spanish language to make our visit more comfortable and meaningful to my friend. We can’t say enough about our meeting with Dr. Montesanti. He was extremely friendly and took great care to complete the tests to determine what was necessary for upcoming cataract surgery and removal of skin over the white of her eye. Laura in scheduling was very helpful on explaining the scheduling and the forms necessary to complete. Our visit from start to finish was more than we could have anticipated. Well done everyone!!!

Terrible experience due to excessive overbooking. Had a 9:45 appointment and was still waiting at 11:10. When I tried to express my disapproval of the situation he said" If you dont like it, what are you still doing here"? Unacceptable and arrogant attitude. All about billing your insurance and greed that makes clients wait hours. To me it appears all about billing and your eyes can wait until we get around to you. Once they check you in and have your ins info, you will wait and if you get fed up and leave they will still bill your insurance. Unacceptable and unprofessional. Wont be returning

Dr. Montesanti is outstanding, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My only complaint is the entire appointment took 3 hours which is too long of an expected wait.

I was very pleased with my first visit to ECVA and Dr Montesanti . Welcoming and throughly professional this was good first visit . The wait time was a little long but it might be because it was a busy time. I was also seen by his colleague before him ( name forgotten) who was equally professional . Thank you.

Dr is Warm, intelligent, timely & accurate. The office had problems with short staff but I’m short too so I didn’t mind.

When it comes to eye doctors I do not handle them well in fact I fainted the first time I ever went to an eye doctor. However Dr. Montesanti is probably the most welcoming and caring doctor I’ve experienced across almost all practices of medical. He will sit and explain to you everything that he can without rushing you out of the chair as well as make you feel comfortable could not recommend enough. Trust me, I’m a sissy with this stuff.

In general I like this practice and Dr. Montesanti a great deal. I do wish it had been better explained to me about coming back a second time for a vision test; in the past this has always been done at one appointment and I was very surprised to learn I would have to come back.

If I could give him a 4.8 rating I would. Dr Montesanti is super friendly, I really do like him, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the Williamsville office is very nicely decorated and very clean. I’m just not 100% satisfied with the results of my cataract surgery, I feel the placement of one of the lenses is off a tiny little bit because I get a distortion of light from the edge of the lens. It isn’t horrible by any means and only when light is coming from the left. I have spoken to him about it, I don’t think there is anything to be done. So that’s why it isn’t a 5 rating.

Gave a very thorough examination and provided me with insight as to whether I need cataract lens replacement surgery. The answer was no. A very upbeat person who clearly enjoys his work.
