Dr. McNabb completed his undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He attended Medical School at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where he received multiple scholarships and awards. He completed his surgical internship and his orthopaedic residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to complete a Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at Colorado Joint Replacement, the premier orthopedic center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. McNabb specializes in adult reconstructive joint replacement surgery, focusing on total hip replacement, total knee replacements, and revision surgery.
Dr. McNabb has several research publications and presentations, and is an active member in many professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Emerging Leaders, Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, and a candidate member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). In addition, he serves as a volunteer for Operation Walk Denver, a not-for-profit organization that provides joint replacements to people in developing countries and here at home.

Three months ago, I underwent a total right knee replacement at Raleigh Orthopedic Clinic under the care of Dr. McNabb. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, my experience has been exceptional. Dr. McNabb had previously treated my mother for her reconstructive knee replacement and was highly recommended by her original orthopedic surgeon. When it was time for my knee replacement, I knew I was in capable hands. Dr. McNabb took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and the various treatment options available, ensuring I felt confident and well-informed. The surgery was successful, and my recovery process has been smoother than anticipated. Dr. McNabb provided clear instructions for post-operative care and was always available to address any concerns or questions. Overall, I am incredibly grateful to Dr. McNabb and his team for their dedication, skill, and compassionate care. I highly recommend Dr. McNabb to anyone in need of knee surgery.

Never got to see the doctor. My appointment was for 3:30 pm. I arrived at 3:15. At 4:00 I went to the front desk to verify my appointment. I was told that they were running late and that a room was being cleaned. At 4:03 and anncouncement was made that they were running behind and patients could come up to reschedule. At 4:05 is was led to the exam room and told Dr. McNabb would be right in. At 4:25 I left without being seen. Had I shown up for my appointment at 4:25 I'm sure I would have received a bill for a missed appointment but I guess it's OK for me to sit there and waste my time. All of my other interactions with Raleigh Orthopaedic have been great.
