Doctor McNabb has been taking care of me and my mom knees for approximately 10 years. He has replaced both of my mom knees and she is doing well. He has been treating me and I’m sure eventually would have to replace both of mine as well. He is patient, understanding and a very good doctor. I highly recommend him, very gentle when giving steroid shots. I’m grateful and appreciate his service.

Very pleased. Was throughly examined and my problem was diagnosed. Received the medicine he said would help. Very informative about what was wrong.

I visited David McNabb on September 26, 2026.
I came in after a follow up from the Raleigh Orthopedic Urgent Care.
I had been having issues with both my knees and can barely walk comfortably.
McNabb discussed my previous X-rays from my urgent care visit.
I told him that I had not seen any improvements from my visit.
He asked how I was referred to him considering that he was a knee surgeon.
I felt that the entire conversation felt dismissive and there was no concern about my condition.
When I asked to do a cortisone injection, he mentioned that I did not say I was in the pain since I had mentioned I did not want anti-inflammatory medication (pills).
He had very little recommendations, outside of another colleague that I should visit.
I was provided a note from a previous work absence, which was helpful.
I am extremely disappointed in my visit with David McNabb.

Very bright, great rapport with patients, asked relevant questions, and guided me to a less invasive and less medically complex treatment.

He was absolutely excellent. The cortisone shot he gave did not even hurt at all. He took the time to check with my insurance.
