We could not be more grateful to Dr. Martineau. After receiving poor recommendations from a different provider, he was able to surgically correct my daughter’s broken arm that had not healed properly to give her back full use and ability. As a highly competitive athlete, this was a tremendous gift. His expertise, professionalism and compassion are exceptional. His care and monitoring all throughout the healing process is deeply appreciated.

My experience with the three people in this office was very positive such that I would highly recommend this practice to anyone! Dr. Martineau was extremely knowledgeable, clearly explained the issues I was having and the options to address along with recommendations for next steps. And his “bedside manners” were excellent!!!

He had a situation where he was stuck in Alaska due to the computers and things going down at the airport he drove all the way straight home and he didn't cancel a single appointment for today they just pushed it back 3 hours. Dr Martineau is awesome & very knowledgeable. I saw him for a 2nd opinion regarding a right distal radius fracture that occurred 1-12–23. He scheduled me for tests EMG, arthrogram with contrast and MRI. Tests showed I had a TFCC tear in my ligament. On 12/29/23 he did arthroscopic surgery and I am no longer dealing with daily pain & I am ecstatic! My wrist and fingers are more flexible. When fracture occurred Hospital ER put a cast on & gave me the name of orthopedic Dr to call as I needed surgery. Dr focused only on the fracture. Every visit I complained of daily pain, not being able to move my wrist or make a fist & my fingers were stiff and would only bend at the middle knuckles. I saw the Dr twice after I was released the first time. Dr never offered any type of tests. Drs comment every time - it would take 6 months to a year to heal & continue my occupational therapy. I had 19 weeks of therapy & still had daily pain, could not make a fist & had limited mobility in my wrist.

Overall my experience was excellent. I have only 1 complaint. It’s very difficult to get hold of someone if you have a question. They tell you on their voice message to expect 48 hours for a response.

I am very impressed with the whole practice. From check in to check out I felt like a valued patient. The entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. Dr Martineau really listened to my concerns and I felt like I was a part of the conversation. Kudos to everyone at Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio.
