Much of his training is focused on managing complications related to previous surgeries, first time hip and knee replacements and computer navigation and robotic assisted surgery.
He is a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and is a member of several organizations including the Foundation for Orthopaedic Trauma, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Florida Orthopaedic Society. Each of these organizations provide education, research and mentorship to surgeons and allied providers specializing in orthopedics across the country.
Dr. Donohue has given lectures both nationally and internationally regarding orthopedic trauma, including an academic presentation about computer assisted radiology and surgery. He is a continuing speaker and instructor at Orthopaedic Trauma Association annual meetings.
Outside of Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Donohue enjoys spending family time with his wife and daughters.

I like that he was in no hurry to do surgery. He was more concerned about what I thought was going to be best for me . His assistant was equally helpful and great at my knee injection!
He did an excellent job on my hip surgery, I would recommend to anyone that might need hip replacement surgery.
