Much of his training is focused on managing complications related to previous surgeries, first time hip and knee replacements and computer navigation and robotic assisted surgery.
He is a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and is a member of several organizations including the Foundation for Orthopaedic Trauma, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Florida Orthopaedic Society. Each of these organizations provide education, research and mentorship to surgeons and allied providers specializing in orthopedics across the country.
Dr. Donohue has given lectures both nationally and internationally regarding orthopedic trauma, including an academic presentation about computer assisted radiology and surgery. He is a continuing speaker and instructor at Orthopaedic Trauma Association annual meetings.
Outside of Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Donohue enjoys spending family time with his wife and daughters.

Would be 5 stars except I felt a little bit rushed that day. Could been a busy schedule day in his defense.

I was seen 90+ minutes AFTER the Scheduled appointment time. Dr. Donohue was quite cordial, but I felt he was rushing through my appointment. Not once did he ask WHY I had come to see him.
Superb doctor with great skill. Always pleasant and upbeat and tells it like it is. He does great work and is genuinely pleased for the good outcome.
