Dr. David Laraway, M.D., is a highly experienced and dedicated OB/Gyn physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed an internship at a county hospital in California, then served five years in the United States Army as a General Medical Officer. This period, along with his subsequent OB/Gyn training and 16 years of practice, shaped his philosophy that being a doctor extends beyond medical knowledge and surgical skills; it also involves a crucial role as an educator.
Dr. Laraway takes pride in empowering his patients with a deeper understanding of their reproductive system, both in health and disease. He finds particular joy in guiding pregnant women through their journey, helping them distinguish between normal physiological changes and potential concerns, fostering a greater connection with their bodies during this significant time.
Beyond prenatal care and deliveries, Dr. Laraway provides comprehensive care across all aspects of women's health, including menstrual issues, infertility, menopause, pelvic pain, and gynecologic surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Laraway cherishes time with his family, including his wife of 33 years, four children, and five grandchildren. He is also an avid skier, hiker, and reader.
