The staff is amazing. The Dr was very helpful. He had a plan to fix the eye and scheduled the surgery immediately.

Having moved twice in recent years, I now drive 1:30 to get to Eye Physicians. But it is absolutely worth the time to be seen by Dr Kiser and the his excellent staff. Their expert care, for years now, has allowed me to still have good vision in an eye that had been injured. I would not even consider going to another doctor for treatment.

Dr. David Kiser has been in the practice of Ophthalmology since 1982. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 1969 and graduated with a degree in medicine from The Medical College of Virginia in 1974. He completed an internship at Riverside Hospital in Newport News Virginia and a residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in 1982. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Kiser is on staff at Smyth County Community Hospital, Johnston Memorial Hospital, and Wythe County Community Hospital. He sees patients in our Marion, Abingdon and Wytheville offices, specializing in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Cataract Surgery and Eyelid Surgery.
