David Jaffe, M.D.

As a foot and ankle specialist, Dr. David Jaffe treats patients of all ages and backgrounds with conditions ranging from bunions and hammertoes to total ankle replacement and complex reconstruction. He feels privileged to help patients by getting them moving and as active as possible again following treatment.

After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware, Dr. Jaffe attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Following medical school, Dr. Jaffe joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland/R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery and had the honor of being elected administrative chief resident. Dr. Jaffe then continued his training by completing a foot and ankle fellowship program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

He is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Jaffe’s clinical and scientific research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and he continues to pursue a research interest in functional outcomes after foot and ankle surgery.
