I can not say enough good things about Dr Homan. I was sent to him by my primary care physician because I couldn’t tolerate any of the statin meds for high cholesterol. As it turned out through testing Dr Homan showed me that although my numbers were high that was not enough to need meds to lower it. There are other factors involved. Using calculations he determined I didn’t need meds right now. As he did a physical he noticed my very painful varicose veins. They have kept me awake many nights. He asked me why I hadn’t seen anyone for for the pain. I told him I thought I just had to live with them. He educated me about new procedures ( to me) after 4 treatments and a few months, I am just about pain free. He has the ability to make you feel comfortable and every time I saw him he treated me with respect and kindness. I love that he shares his smile. That goes a long way in making a person feel comfortable. I would trust him with my care and my family’s care any time. He is wonderful.

In reviewing my online chart in the Patient Portal after my visit, there were recommendations that had not been expressed to me by him or his staff during the visit and which I would not have known had I not checked my record. I also felt that the history in my chart contained comments inconsistent with what I had relayed. He was very good and a smart and talented doctor, but I recommend checking the Patient Portal.

Nice Guy, intelligent speaks well, answers questions that I can understand. The only problem is that he doesn’t listen to heart rhythm, doesn’t check carotid artery’s, doesn’t check ankles, complained several times about pain in left shoulder, arm, hand numbness, discomfort in upper chest below the clavicle bone , left breast , His answers are if it hurts when I touch it’s not the heart , but never examined the area . He doesn’t check me , he blames all my issues on stress and anxiety, which I have elevated levels. Just don’t feel he’s not thorough enough. I asked about echocardiogram today, he looked at chart and said I had one in 2018, I told him my issues are worst now than they were then so he ordered it. Not well Pleased !!
