He had been my doctor since day one. Dr. is a caring person and good at what he does, had swelling in my legs and he knew just what to do. The surgery went well hadn’t have swelling for years now. Thank God for him 🙏🏽

Dr. David Homan joined CIS in 2017 as an interventional cardiologist in Opelousas.
He attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he majored in chemistry. He earned his medical doctorate from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in bioethics and professionalism. At the same university, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine.
Dr. Homan continued his training at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, where he served as chief cardiology fellow and was named cardiology fellow of the year. He attended Scripps Green in La Jolla, California to train in interventional cardiology.
Before joining CIS, Dr. Homan worked at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana as an interventional cardiologist.
