This was my first time visit. Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish with staff and doctor. Very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything very clearly. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

Dr. David Homan joined CIS in 2017 as an interventional cardiologist in Opelousas.
He attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he majored in chemistry. He earned his medical doctorate from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in bioethics and professionalism. At the same university, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine.
Dr. Homan continued his training at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, where he served as chief cardiology fellow and was named cardiology fellow of the year. He attended Scripps Green in La Jolla, California to train in interventional cardiology.
