Dr. David K. Handshoe M.D., F.C.C.P., is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1980, and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine (1980–1984). Dr. Handshoe completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor (1985–1987), followed by a prestigious fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina (1990–1993).
