Incredible doctor. Was about an hour or so behind schedule but the thing is, when you get in the room he actually to you and spends time with you instead of rushing you out the door. If he does that with each patient like he does with me, I don’t mind him running behind at all. He’s worth the wait.

It was hour and half to see him for 10 minutes. Hospital was very cold. Air conditioner was on while temperature outside was 38 degrees he was very nice guy though. Waiting like that was too long

I received the results from him well. There wasn’t any options that was given except just ice it down and use a compression sleeve or put it in a sling.

Dr. MacDonald is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He spent two years stationed in Okinawa, Japan serving as the sole hand and upper extremity specialist in the Western Pacific. He was honored as a recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his service. He then moved his practice to Midland, Texas and while there, he served as team physician for the Midland Rockhounds; a minor league affiliate of the Oakland A’s organization.
Dr. MacDonald is a Professor of Orthopedics at VCOM of Auburn. He is also frequently asked to consult the Auburn Athletic Department’s Sports Medicine Staff with their athletes’ Hand/Wrist complaints.
