Extremely disappointed with my experience. The office called at 11am asking me to move my 3:10 appointment to 1/1:30. I accommodated them, then waited for hours. When the doctor finally came in, he immediately dismissed my symptoms as vulvodynia without taking my full history and was about to leave WITHOUT performing the cystoscopy I had waited over a month for. I had to insist he do the procedure and explain that gynecological causes had already been evaluated. The cystoscopy was normal, but after I pushed further about left-sided pain when my bladder fills and after urinating, he finally ordered a CT. The result? A 4mm stone lodged in my LEFT upper ureter, apparently obstructing urine flow, plus multiple stones in both kidneys. I now need urgent surgery on Sept. 10. I spent the entire day there after coming early at THEIR request, only to be treated like I was at the wrong specialist—until imaging proved I had an actual urological problem. He has engaged in extensive research over the years that have allowed him the opportunity to speak and publish his findings to an international audience.
