Dr. David Glassman, D.O., was born in Edina, Minnesota and raised there until the age of 5 when he and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ. He graduated from Shadow Mountain High School, and then went on to study molecular and cellular biology at the University of Arizona. While at the U of A, he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and active in intramural sports. He then graduated from the U of A and went on to study medicine at Midwestern University AZCOM. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University in 2002 and then attended his OBGYN Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was part of the core teaching faculty at Banner University Medical Campus Phoenix from 2006-2020. He is also an Assistant Professor at The University of Arizona and Midwestern University. Dr. Glassman is clinically involved with several nurse practitioner and physician assistant mentorships. He is a consultant for AbbVie and also for Boston Scientific for his expertise in Hysteroscopic tissue extraction procedures. Dr. Glassman is a Fellow of ABOG and is past president of the Phoenix OBGYN Society 2016-2017. Dr. Glassman is a specialist in Minimally Invasive Surgery including daVinci robotic procedures,advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
