Knowledgeable,warm, professional
Post-surgery, I did not get any communication from Dr. Fabi, no instructions other than "no precautions", no explanation of how recovery proceeds and the stages of healing. A fracture at the top of the femur went undetected in the post-op x-ray. Ten days into rehab my upper femur broke apart. My office visit five days later was going to be handled by a PA, but I insisted on seeing Dr. Fabi to be able to ask questions. He would only answer what I asked, and did not offer any recovery guidance beyond "it's going to be okay". I learned far more about how bones heal and how to manage my own recovery from ChatGPT (and my physical therapist) than anything Dr. Fabi offered. I am now 14 weeks post-fracture and nearly 16 weeks post-surgery, now able to walk without support but not fully back to normal yet.

Dr, Fabi is a very personal and friendly person who puts you at ease regarding the surgery. My hip replacement hip surgery went very well. After two weeks of rehab I was already able to walk without a cane and sleeping comfortably.
