Dr. David Erickson, M.D., began his career in health care by receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, Illinois. He completed his pediatric residency at Wright-Patterson Medical Center on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, as well as at Dayton Children's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Alongside his passion for medical science, it’s clear why he decided to specialize as a pediatrician.

At the time, as a member of the United States Air Force, he completed his pediatric residency at Wright-Patterson Medical Center on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, as well as at Dayton Children's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Erickson spent his early career caring for patients at Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California before discharging from service. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Erickson understands that doctor's visits can be stressful for some children and therefore, tries to bring humor and laughter to every encounter in order to create a more comfortable environment. He utilizes his personal experience as a father to relate to the families of his patients and uses this common ground to create trusting relationships and take a team approach to developing and implementing care plans. Dr. Erickson specializes in all aspects of general pediatric care and has a special interest in treating allergies, skin disorders, and infectious diseases.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Erickson enjoys spending time with his family, as well as reading, watching movies, trying new foods and drinks, playing golf and video games, and outdoor experiences, like hiking.
