The reviews listed below were collected independently of Advanced Urology Institute through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
Made an appointment to have catheter removed after a prostactomy performed by a surgery team 4 hours away due to better scheduling. Made sure there would be no conflicts since Dr. DiPiazza did not place the catheter.Called again the day before appointment to verify the office would remove it and was assured there would be no issues. At the appointment the doctor seemed very offended that I was there to have him remove the catheter and stated I "fired "him by going to another specialist for the surgery.I respectfully explained that the surgery decision was made based solely on scheduling. He stated that I no longer needed to see him but he did have a nurse remove it. As he was storming out the door I reminded him I called to verify with staff there would not be a conflict and he stated "you were speaking to my staff, what do you expect when you are dealing with people with no college degree." I can understand his frustration but not bashing your own staff. No bedside manner.

Dr. Dipiazza was great, communicated well on what he was doing with exam. The nurse was Fantastic!
The only issue I had was with front desk no one was to check you in or greet you; as a new client not knowing what to do.. I asked other patients. She was on lunch, but had no coverage (?) communication and welcoming was not great by front desk staff or check out: but the care facilities were very good, I will Continue with follow up. Thank you
