Dr. DeMik received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. DeMik then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa, followed by a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also completed the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons Health Policy Fellowship.

He seems like a very good doctor. My daughter has Down Syndrome and it seems a little complicated. I’m not sure if he has ever preformed surgery on a patient like this before. So I didn’t feel confident when I left the place. I can’t say anything bad though he explained things very well to me.
