I appreciate the time Dr Dare spends listening and paying attention. Not actively on a computer asking questions or Trying to read something off the computer while the appointment is in session.

My last appointment was instead with some assistant or substitute. Don't know why Dr. Dare wasn't available, but this backup guy didn't seem as empathetic. I got three impression that when I proposed it might be helpful if I give my knee joint a couple days rest to ease the inflammation and discomfort of the meniscus, his demeanor and body language suggested strong reluctance to agree. It felt like a lack of connection and hesitance on his part to really listen to the heart of my concerns. He did eventually give me a note to be absent from work the following day, but I had the impression that he dismissed my request as simply as an excuse to lay out of work.

I saw Dr. Dare for Left Shoulder pain issues. I had researched him on line before opting for an appointment. From the time he walked in, his friendliness and professionalism stood out from others I've seen and immediately put me at ease. He displayed a great sense of humor, excellent patient skills, and excellent listening skills. He provided xray results in laymens terms and provided several options to address the issue. I'd highly recommend Dr. Dare.

I saw his assistant for my appointment. He was through and quite good in his explanations.

Didn’t know my name at the end of visit. Said if I wanted to know why radiologist report said something different than he saw I’d have to ask Cynthia Murray. I’m Cynthia Murray. It is frustrating to see report that reads tear or tendonitis from a radiologist that read MRI, then see doctor that says no correct. Also knowing my body and when it has been injured then told pain coming from arthritis. I had tear and got surgery. I have none spurs in other shoulder also and it hurts sometimes when I over use and been told coming from bone spurs not arthritis. Seems when injured from PT some don’t want to have injury on paper but putting arthritis since patient doing exactly what they’re told to do at PT. You need doctors with much better bed side manners and more personable. The bedside manner matters a lot.

Would be 5 stars but the 2cd post op appointment he was walking out from the room while asking a question, he did answer as we were walking down the hallway. But I still had questions. During the appointment he did answer a few that I had. This is the first time I felt he allotted a few minutes to check on the rotator cuff surgery was still healing on schedule.

Had R reverse total shoulder replacement on 3/07/2022 & today was 6 week f/u with Dr Dare. Pleased to be released from brace today & to progress to additional use of operative arm. Dr Dare performed surgery on my right shoulder a few months back. I recently was out of town and fell in the yard. The impact was on my right shoulder, wouldn’t you know it!! Hoping it would get better, I waited while taking pain meds and icing it. After 4 days I called ROC and was given an appointment. X-rays showed that there were no broken bones, so he gave me an injection and I was on my way! I really appreciate the care that was given to me, from making the appointment, reception in the office, X-rays, and seeing Dr Dare! I couldn’t ask for anything better!

Nice clean and professional business

Dr. Dare’s physical exam has always been notably gentle as are his very painless cortisone shots. However, the PA did a physical exam first and was quite forceful and painful. I am a 68 year old arthritic female ( not a football player) who came in with very sore shoulders and diminished strength and tone due to a recent hernia surgery. Six weeks of very restricted activities, then gradual return to baseline, but far from my pre op condition . Otherwise, Andrew was pleasant and very thorough. Thank you to all the awesome staff.

The beginning of the visit I was asked whether my symptoms began when Covid began by a nurse, again the same question in another form was asked by the doctor... had my mood and pain gotten worse in the las 6 months! Hmmm.. no COVID did not have anything to do with my symptoms! I Idid not make my pain up, this is not an “emotional” pain I went in because of dropping shoulder with x-rays that showed issues with my shoulder, and just like that there was nothing wrong with shoulder! I was offered a steroid shot, I declined. I left so confused!! From parking lot I called and tried to speak with nurse, did no good! She was rude and was not listening to my concern! Again , part of the heard! Go in, listen, leave! Second time I called another nurse answered she explained the visit to me ....still very confused! Having to make appointment with other Orthopedic Doctor for understand. X-ray report and what Doctor saw were very far off!
