David Crandall, M.D.

Dr. David Crandall, M.D. is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon that specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He prioritizes building close relationships with patients and helping them return to their active lifestyles through a variety of surgical and non-surgical techniques. He enjoys treating conditions of the entire musculoskeletal system but has a special interest in using minimally invasive techniques in treatment of injuries and disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Dr. Crandall is a native of Northern California and earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology. He completed medical school in Atlanta, GA at PCOM, and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Florida - Largo Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Crandall went on to complete specialized fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the prestigious David P. Green Fellowship at The Hand Center of San Antonio.
There he was mentored and trained by Dr. Green and several other world renowned surgeons.
He specializes in treating conditions of the hand and upper extremity in all ages including fracture care/
complex trauma, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome and other nerve
injuries, Dupuytren’s contractures, tendonitis, as well as arthritic conditions of the hand, elbow and
shoulder
When he isn’t treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in many
outdoor activities including tennis, golf and surfing.
