I explained my situation to his assistant. I have been in pain since I was hurt while I was a passenger in an Uber. When Dr. Cheong came into the room he said 'So you have chronic pain because of your rheumatoid arthritis. No - actually I have Osteoarthritis related to my history of chemotherapy. The pain I've been experiencing never occurred until after an impaired Uber driver banged me around in his car. I felt like no one was listening to me at all.

He is very caring and is an excellent surgeon!!

I waited well over an hour to see the doctor once I was taken in and no one ever came in to apologize for the long wait time nor did he. There was really no reason for me to go in today. He never told me he does not do the hip shots now I understand. I have to make an appointment with another doctor to have that done which is more wasted time.

UHC referred me to Dr Cheong. I arrived and they immediately sent me for an X-eay. Dr Cheong came in and reviewed the X-ray and said he was not the right Doctor. Nice guy but I feel like my time was wasted and should not be charged for the visit.

DR CHEONG IS WONDERFULL I HAVE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN HIM.

The implant is working perfectly, it feels like a normal knee. I could not be more pleased with having chosen a lateral knee replacement procedure. I am currently 10 days post surgery. And for every single one of those 10 days I have been in less pain than I was before the surgery. I am already doing limited walking in the house without even using a cane. I am so glad I waited until doctor Cheong could do my surgery.

Dr. Cheong did my 6 week follow up for a left knee replacement. I advised him my gold standard for it being successful was that I could once again get in and out of my Corvette in a very cramped garage! Dr. Cheong is the MAN!!! He wanted to do surgery on me but I didn't warrant it🤣🤣🤣 On a serious note, he is one of the BEST Doctors I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. His bedside manor and humor are comforting. I tend to bring that out in people. I'm feeling so much better after the cortisone shot in my knee for Arthur that I've overused for the past month. It's still swollen because I haven't sat my butt down yet. I thoroughly researched him before making an appointment. I'm only 61 years old and have had 4 hip replacements on just my right hip. In July 2019 I had Reconstructive hip surgery in NJ by one of the BEST surgeons in the country. I moved to Florida in Nov 2019. After my primary finding a comparable Doctor was next on my list. I found Dr. Cheong and thoroughly researched him. Reviews, papers written, articles about him, his education and a lot more. I know more about him than he does🤷🏽‍♀ I definitely give him an A+++++++++++ His staff is SUPER as well. Thx 2 all🤩

Dr Cheong did a wonderful job replacing my worn out and super painful hip. Now almost 2 months later I need no cane or assistance. I am a new man thanks to Dr Cheong’s skilled hands. Following the post surgical exercise and just walking helped speed the recovery. Now virtually pain free. Highly recommend Dr Cheong!

I was referred by Dr. Tambay and within a couple minutes of my appointment with Dr. Cheong, he said what I was being referred for is not in his wheelhouse and should see a different doctor. So, I waited almost TWO hours past my appointment time only to be told nearly immediately that essentially this referral was completely unnecessary or erroneous.

Appointment at 9:30 but was seen by the doctor 1040. Too long! Was seen 10 minutes and was told my diagnosis. Would have liked a clear explanation of my x-rays. The doctor was pleasant and nice.

Dr Cheong was curtious. He made an excellent presentation. He looks you in the eyes, his diagnosis was believable, it made good sense and it is doable. I thought it was arthritis but was bursitis. treatment considted of an injection, prescription for meloxicam and physical therapy.

I have been in a leg brace with a knee injury for 4 months in exquisite pain seeing varying physicians and specialists. Today in one meeting, Dr. Cheong correctly assessed my condition with a specific care plan to begin the healing process. I am thankful beyond words.

Too long a wait

At my first appt I waited one hour past appt time in the lobby. At second appt I waited 45 minutes past appt time in the lobby. At my third appt I waited one hour past appt time in the lobby. Can you guess how I might be feeling? Or, don’t ask if you don’t want to hear the true answer!

just now NEW Dr. David Cheong is compassionate, caring, and personable. He always takes time to answer each and every question. I never feel like I'm being herded like cattle through his office. His MRI Techs Tracy and Jessica are absolutely amazing, friendly, and also so very compassionate. They treat me like family. I drive over 2 hours one way every 3 months for an MRI and a follow-up appointment with the doctor to review results and I do so gladly because I always know I am in good hands with Dr. Cheong and his amazing staff! I could not recommend him enough! If I could give a higher than five stars rating, I sure would!
