Would like to feel comfortable asking questions, as I do with other doctors, I ask them as I think of them. If Dr. chamberland would prefer questions be asked after the assessment, please tell me this early, as I'm not sure when he prefers my questions. However, in the past, before our appointment was over, my questions were answered. But feels hard for me to know when I can present them. I so appreciate Dr. Chamberland kind mannerism and also he does not chasize me if I don't follow through with recommendations, necessarily. He recognizes that it is his place to educate me and make recommendations, and then he shows me respect, even if I don't follow through. This eases my apprehension in my follow up appointments,knowing I will not be chasized. He has the important qualities I look for in a physician, knowledge, expertise, and an easy going and caring way.

Dr. Chamberlain has been my rheumatologist for over 17 years. The care I have received from him has always been participatory. Unfortunately, I have had to change treatments several times. He has always listened, evaluated and chose the best for me. I was able to continue working the very physical environment as a critical care nurse until I was retirement age. I could not have done that without his care. Even though I have had multiple surgeries and joint replacements, he has helped me to have the resilience and bounce back.

First time visit. Thorough history collected. Was to the point. Direct. Gave me options and will link with my primary care doctor. Seemed very knowledgeable.

I am getting good results and understanding a good deal more about the Rheumatoid and it's good to know that there is a doctor as good as Dr. Camberland to help me keep my symptoms at bay as best as possible.

He seems comfortable with normal everyday diagnoses but if you have something rare he isn't really interested in trying to figure it out with you. I left both appointments with him with more questions than answers.

He’s a real human being, not a medical machine

It's really hard to find a good doctor around here. One that listens to your concerns and questions and offers real solutions. Dr Chamberland is one of those doctors. Every concern I've had is always put at ease. Either by him or another specialist he refers me to. He isn't so self absorbed that he thinks he knows everything. He will send you to another doctor that is more knowledgeable with an issue you're having, than he is. Which doesn't happen often in the medical field. I started going to him about 8 years ago, in immense pain and not knowing why. Today I know exactly what is wrong with me and have a plan in action that leaves me in little to no pain. That's all thanks to him and his ability to listen and find solutions.

Great doc always willing to help

Although the prescribed biological medication is working, I do not feel heard during appointments. He seems pre occupied. My symptoms are brushed off, when in reality my symptoms negatively affect my quality of life tremendously. I felt defeated and often cry after my appointments and like my dr is not getting down to the roots of my issues. I do not feel like a priority. I will be finding a new dr.

Dr Chamberland seems to be attentive, however, there is little eye contact with me. He is thorough enough I suppose, however spends a good bit of time typing notes while I am talking.

Very short appointments. There are always apologies for running late but that experience never improves. This is frustrating when you work and plan for a reasonable time for an appointment yet spend twice as long because appointments are delayed.
