I left in tears. There’s definitely something wrong with my left hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
They did a nerve test. It showed I had carpal tunnel, which I knew, but it hurts so badly, tingles, and goes numb more often than not.
He was short with me, cut me off when I tried to explain, and gave me a pain specialist’s name. I needed answers or something more for peace of mind.
I feel like a pain specialist just sends you away with pain meds and I don’t want meds. I want answers and he didn’t give me any other options or suggestions about what else it could be. :(

it felt like he didn't believe that i was having any issues. i came in due to some pretty bad nerve pain, they x-ray'd my arm, saw nothing, which makes sense, but then the doctor suggested i get a nerve study done, and his final remarks were "i wouldn't be surprised if the nerve study comes back just fine." it's like he thinks I'm lying about my issues. i can assure whoever reads this, im not attention it drug seeking. i just want my arm to stop constantly hurting.
