Dr. David Arner, M.D., recently joined IGA after a 24-year career in the United States Air Force. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and attended medical school at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. Following medical school, Dr. Arner completed his internal medicine residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and then pursued a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Virginia.
Throughout his military career, he held a variety of clinical and leadership roles as a gastroenterologist in the United States and abroad, including assignments in Ohio, Germany, Alaska, and Virginia. Dr. Arner treats the full range of general gastroenterology and hepatology conditions, bringing both expertise and compassion to his patients. He and his family are thrilled to be part of the Treasure Valley community.
Outside of work, Dr. Arner enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
