David Abbott, M.D.

Dr. Abbott was great. He came in and introduced himself, shook my hand, and asked questions. He listened to what I had to say and had a strong feel right away what he thought. He performed an examination and was correct in his initial diagnosis and let me know. We built a plan and I was out the door quickly. I know he would have dug deeper if he needed to though.

Dr Abbot is a great doctor and takes time to listen

Dr. Abbott & his staff were amazing! I had my sinuses ballooned out & they were so great throughout the whole process! Less than 24 hours after surgery I’m breathing better than I have in years!!

I think Dr. Abbott is a very good doctor, but he does not seem to be concerned about the patient beyond the very specific purpose for which they're in the office, and that's disappointing.

Love Dr. Abbott! He is very gentle with everything he does procedure wise. I hate things up my nose (not saying anyone does) but he did it quickly and very gentle. Walked me through all the steps that needed to be taken and is overall a wonderful doctor. With have horrible ears, hearing aids, and now sinus issues I appreciate having someone to trust and being close to home. What a groovy man!

We have been seeing Dr. Abbott since my first daughter needed ear tubes, and that was almost 5 years ago. He’s since done my second daughters ear tubes (and removal) and even did a nasal scope on myself. He was the first doctor my girls went to, that they didn’t cry for. He’s professional, friendly, and compassionate. I recommend him to anyone needing an ENT, and will continue to always choose him for any needs that we have arise. We are so thankful for everything he’s done for us!

Dr. Abbott is my absolute favorite surgeon in Yankton. He was able to answer all of my questions - no matter how silly they might me. Thats a big deal to me. A lot of doctors are intimidating to me because of their high education but Dr. Abbott wasn't't. I could tell he was smart, obviously, but he was able to explain really complicated things to me in terms that I can understand. Thats a really hard thing to do. He made me feel at ease just knowing he was my surgeon.
