Upon entering the room, he took my phone out my hand (although I wasn’t on it, and was very attentive) and placed it by my clothes. He didn’t ask, just grabbed. Then asked a bunch of invasive questions that had nothing to do with my injury or the visit, and wrote them down. Why does the amount of siblings I have matter when we’re talking about my pain? When asking about my accident, he said “I thought you were a smart girl and knew better”. He made an inappropriate comment on my flexibility? I was very uncomfortable this whole appointment and I had my partner in my headphones and he heard everything. He stated the questions were very inappropriate. Will not being going back.

For over 30 years, Dr. Rockwell practiced community orthopedic surgery with Goldsboro Orthopedic Associates and was a past president of the North Carolina Orthopedic Association. In October 2011, the NCOA awarded Dr. David Rockwell, The Honored Surgeon Award which recognizes a North Carolina orthopedic surgeon who has been notably influential in the promotion of the highest standards of orthopedic care and has distinguished himself among his peers for the dedication to quality patient care and to the medical profession.
