Dr. Darryn L. Appleton MD, FACC

Dr. Darryn Appleton, M.D., is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist at Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists in Richmond, VA. A University of Auckland medical graduate, he completed his residency and fellowships at VCU. Practicing in Short Pump and the West End, he specializes in complex coronary stenting, TAVR, structural valve repair, peripheral artery disease, and advanced CT heart scans. He has a particular interest in CT Angiography, peripheral vascular interventions and complex coronary work. In his spare time, Dr. Appleton enjoys spending time with his family, running around Richmond and travel.
