She then completed her neurology residency at the University of South Alabama, followed by a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Callahan Eye Hospital.

The entire office gets 5 stars. From the front desk to the checkout and everyone in between. What a nice professional Dr's office. People who looked like they were there to work and enjoyed their jobs. Ultimately my child was not able to receive a diagnosis this first visit but it wasnt due to any lack of care. They asked relevant questions, listened carefully, and really made my daughter feel heard. Hopefully will be able to get diagnosed soon. Dr Isen is a true professional and I'd recommend her 100 out 100 times.

My appt was at 2:15, I made this appointment two months ago, per her availability, for ocular migraines. I sat in the lobby from 1:50-2:55, and then sat waiting in a room after maybe 5 minutes with a nurse for another hour before I walked out at 4:04. I am HIGHLY disappointed in the way I got zero updates and treated like just another number. My mother was a nurse for over 30 years and you never do that to a patient. I truly hope my ocular migraines are not a dangerous condition and won’t cause me permanent issues, but thank you for making my first time there such a nightmare experience. I understand waiting but after 2 hours and 14 minutes with no updates or anything it is just unacceptable.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER!!! SHE'S VERY NICE AND CARING! She's informative and makes sure you understand what's going on with you. She doesn't rush you out! I recommend her to anyone who is having neuro or has had a stroke and are having problems with their eyes!
