Dr. Matijevich received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and Master of Science degree from Purdue University Northwest. She received her podiatric medical degree from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. Her podiatric medicine and surgery residency training took place at Franciscan Alliance/Midwestern University throughout Northwest Indiana where her training emphasized on conservative care and surgical correction of forefoot and rearfoot deformities, complex lower extremity trauma, and diabetic limb salvage. In addition, Dr. Matijevich has had training in multiple high volume wound care centers throughout Northwest Indiana.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Matijevich enjoys traveling and cooking with her husband as well as spending time with her family including her many nephews and niece.

Dr Matijevich has a warm and caring personality. She puts her patient’s concerns first and addresses their needs with sound, reliable medical advice. I never felt hurried at appointments. In short, she LISTENS. If needed l will continue to seek her care.

Dr. Matijevich has a great bedside manner. She was very knowledgeable and patient with questions. She took the time to compare my X-ray to a normal X-ray. Highly recommend!
