Awesome bedside manner that truly cares for the well being of his patient's.
I like Doc Willis. Too bad the office was shut down and my appointment was cancelled. No computers? I could not wait. I was scheduled at 9:15 and left at 10 :55. Had to go. CHC. Sucked today.
My issue isn’t that Dr. Willis is a bad Dr. it is that he does have little regard to his patients TIME as a whole. I know CHC has parameters around how long you can be with a patient etc. The main goal in my opinion is to get the general information from the patient and if the patient consistently needs extra time is to suggest that they take notes before the visit to make the appointment shorter. I think a first time patient visit is good to take longer just after that stick in the time limit you have and if you must go over it then make it 10 minutes longer. If a patient is late, that’s their problem unfortunately. Patients do not like waiting for an hour extra because the Dr is running behind. What I especially do not like is when they do that then it gets close to their lunch break or closing and then that’s when it’s sped up. I waited nearly 2 hrs last visit, then this one I waited an hr (if we don’t count me being there early.)
Dr. Willis is a great listener, he makes you feel like a partner of his in the health journey.
