Excellent care using very pertinent questions
It was extremely difficult to get into even talk to Dr. Willis. My original appointment was for the end of October. I had to have the social worker at inpatient rehab. Arrange for a phone appointment and then I was told it was on schedule then I was told we’d have to see if the doctor could do it, this was all late last week. Then today I got a call for intake at about one 50 p.m.. ( My appointment was scheduled for 1:30 PM). 2 1/2 hours later I got a call from Dr. Willis. I was able to make all of my request of him and as far as I know, he is going to follow through on some orders for medical equipment and prescriptions. Having to wait 2 1/2 hours to talk to the doctor for 15 minutes felt very disrespectful. He’s a good doctor and I’m glad he was able to contact me. But the entire system for community health centers actually makes my health decline.
