I didn't get to see Dr. Willing. I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes and never got called to the exam room in that time. During that 25 minute wait no one bothered to say they're running late. I went up to the desk and one of the girls asked if I had an appt. I said 'yes, 25 minutes ago. How much longer?' Another girl looked and said "they'll call you soon." I asked her to define 'soon' because I wasn't going to keep waiting. She said "if you want to leave, we'll call you to reschedule."
If CHC wants to overbook patients, that's their business. Just stop making the patients have to suffer for it.
I'm fed up with going to doctor's appt's and being expected to wait indefinitely. I have things to do too. I don't appreciate being kept waiting an excessive amount of time.
Had I eventually been called back, I still would've ended up waiting still longer in the exam room before meeting the doctor.
