Dr.Van Engel is one of the nicest, easiest to talk to and explains so well that you don’t have to ask any questions at all. I would recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Daniel Van Engel joined Neurology Group in 1978. He received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 1973. He completed his neurology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, in 1978. Dr. Van Engel's special interests within the practice include Adult Neurology, Neuromuscular Diseases, Electromyography (EMG), and Spine Disorders. He is a past Director of the Neurosciences Department at The Valley Hospital from 2001-08. He is the former Medical Director of The Spine Center at The Valley Hospital.
