The only doctor who diagnosed my condition. I have been going to neurologists since I was 12. Every single one told me that it wasn’t a petite mal seizures, but it was. I’m a borderline epileptic.

Dr. Van angle spoke in a very calming manner, he explained things so that they were well understood. Discussed my husband‘s issues. And has a very caring manner.
Dr. Daniel Van Engel joined Neurology Group in 1978. He received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 1973. He completed his neurology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, in 1978. Dr. Van Engel's special interests within the practice include Adult Neurology, Neuromuscular Diseases, Electromyography (EMG), and Spine Disorders. He is a past Director of the Neurosciences Department at The Valley Hospital from 2001-08. He is the former Medical Director of The Spine Center at The Valley Hospital.
