Sustained a crush injury to the tip of my middle finger on my dominant hand from a hydraulic lift gate accident at work. The bone was fractured with the tip in multiple pieces and my nail completely ripped up from the nailbed. All in all, definitely not the worst injury Dr. Kokmeyer has had to deal with after reading some of his other reviews. But it’s my finger on my dominant hand, and I was so scared I was going to lose part of it or that it wouldn’t regain feeling or full range of movement. Thanks to Dr. Kokmeyer (and a little bit of physical therapy), I have full use of it again, with barely any scarring and a completely normal looking nail. Only a few months after, it barely looks like I injured it in the first place.
