Dr. Daniel Su, M.D., graduated Magna cum Laude from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with Distinction in Research.
Following an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, where he was recognized with both the Devgan Surgery Award for Surgical Excellence and the Jules Stein Resident Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. He went on to complete a two-year vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, during which time he was awarded the prestigious national award from the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation.
Dr. Su has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbook chapters on vitreoretinal diseases and has been an invited speaker to present scientific papers and abstracts at various national ophthalmic and retina subspecialty
meetings. Dr. Su is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Su is very good though he could spend a little bit more time with his patients . Seems he’s just too busy running from patient to patient!
Dr. Su explains things in an easy to understand way. He does not push you into treatments. Instead he gives a full explanation of the issues. Plus his office staff is very efficient. After arriving at the office, my name is always called after a few minutes and tests are quickly performed. Then after waiting for another few minutes, Dr. Su checks my eyes and decides whether anything else needs to be done. On my visit last week, I was in and out of the office within half an hour.
Very concerned and friendly. Explained details of condition and is open to questions.
