Dr. Merrick received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, his M.D. from Northwestern University and completed his urologic residency at the University of Illinois. Dr. Merrick has over 25 years of experience practicing urology and has a very active practice. He has experience with all aspects of urology, but is especially interested in the treatment of kidney stones, urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Merrick always has his patients' best interests in mind. He believes they should be well informed on all treatment options and be involved in their treatment plan. He is readily available to his patients and their families, as he understands needing urologic care can be a stressful time. He makes every effort to see his patients in a timely manner and respects the importance of their time. He is on staff at multiple hospitals and involved in teaching urologic residents.
