A Louisville native, Dr. Rueff has been with Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics since 2010, following his medical training at the University of Louisville, an orthopedic residency at the University of Florida, and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Throughout his career, he has served as a team physician or consultant for various collegiate sports programs, including the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville, and the University of Florida. Dr. Rueff also serves as the football team physician for Trinity High School, his alma mater.
He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Very friendly at my 1st meeting and explained the procedure well.
First time being seen by Dr. Rueff and was very pleased with his understanding of injury and tentative treatment path. Also very pleased that he felt that being seen by a fellow orthopedic surgeon could have meaningful insight for treatment.

Dr. Rueff is always very patient and he doesn’t try to rush through the appointment… He listens and he understands. He tries his very best to help me in anyway he can.
