Dr. Daniel R. Welchons M.D., received a full-tuition academic scholarship to attend medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. In medical school he spent part of his fourth year at Istituto Mediterraneo per i Trapianti e Terapie ad Alta Specializzazione (ISMETT) in Palermo, Italy assisting in transplantation surgery services. He completed his surgical internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and residency at the Harvard Program in Urology.

Dr. Welchons is an excellent doctor in every aspect. He's so approachable that you feel comfortable discussing your personal urological problems. He's also extremely intelligent and knows the latest in his field.He's humble, too. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Welchons is TOP-NOTCH. He is a superb listener who really cares about his patients, especially those over the age of 80! Many doctors, who have older patients, are ready to give up on them…NOT Dr. Welchons! He wants to get to the root of the problem. Bravo and kudos to him!!👍👏🩷
