As a pediatric ophthalmology fellow, Dr. Holland performed significant and award-winning research in pediatric cataract surgery and retinopathy of premature infants.
Dr. Holland enjoys using his medical expertise on his international medical mission trips. He has taken his family on medical missions to Kausey Wasi Clinic in Coya, Peru and Tnewek Hosptial in Bomet, Kenya.
