I absolutely loved his bedside manner - very personal. I felt genuinely cared for and heard and the thought of using PT first over surgery was greatly appreciated.

When this doctor walked in to meet me and had his arm in a cast from a similar shoulder issue as mine I knew right away he understood the pain that I was in. The visit was comfortable, he answered every question I can think of to ask and believe me sometimes that can be exhausting with me. I don't like pain very much and he did everything he could to ensure that I was not in anymore. I know that if I would experience some he would take care of it. Thank you for a great service and I will definitely be back.

He is the Greatest

This is my second surgery with Dr. Prohaska. My left knee 12 years ago and my right shoulder 6-1-2023. He is a excellent surgeon and I give him 5 ***** stars.

Good advice on surgery...

It felt like he didn’t listen to my concerns, made me feel like I was annoying him. This is the second time this has happened and he made me feel like my problems are minor.

I am looking forward for my right shoulder. I have had my left shoulder & has been a blessing. The pain I was having before gone instantly right after surgery.

He was very dismissive, He didn't believe me. Then sent me home with no hope of fixing my shoulder and back pain. He already made up his mind about me before he met me. Walked in the room told me I'm fine and sent me home. No referral to a back doctor, he didn't even feel my shoulder to see what the problem is. I got more assistance from his assistant! He is really jaded and it shows in his staff as well. This visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. The demeanor him and his staff exude was hesitation and irritation. They got very upset when i couldn't remember the exact time and day my accident happened. A lot of eye rolling and asking a question then running away. They treated me like a kid in school who needs help and they know you need them so they are rude to you.

Everyone is great. I love that they really listen to you and don't blow you off like a lot of doctors do

Appt was made to see the wrong dr, I needed dr who does knee replacements, but the staff was wonderful and transferred me to the correct dr!

Went through a slew of people before seeing Dr. Prohaska, who was abrupt, bordering on rude and when he saw I was not interested in surgery at my age he dismissed me with no words of any kind. Smug and abrupt, I would never go back and will see another doctor at this clinic.

Dr Prohaska has done an amazing surgery procedure on my fully torn rotator cuff. I’m 10 weeks post and therapy is going great. I have recommended two of my friends to him.

Dr. Prohaska did an excellent job on my reverse shoulder replacement. I had no complications from surgery, no infection, a small scar and less pain than I expected. The shoulder joint seems to be working very well. Now if I can just build up muscle strength.

Didn't see Dr. this time was in for steroid injections each shoulder. Excellent nurse Sara and Excellent PA Chelsea. Both very professional and kind and very sweet. I appreciate them! They explain everything fully to me so that I understand all they do.

I think Dr Prohaska is a good doctor and I was pleased with him but had to wait an hour and a half to see him. My appt was at 3:15 pm and I left his office at 5:00 pm. I thought I was forgotten about but I was pleased with him once I saw him.

Workmans comp case that being said, Feel that he was out for companies best interest instead of mines. It was obvious he wasn't interested or even listening to what i was saying when he advised me to keep weight down, Ride a bike, go for a walk and exercise. I have a torn meniscus I can hardly walk at all! Everything he told me during the visit is exactly word for word what other co-workers had already told me he would say because he had told them the exact same thing. I suppose this is why my company referred everyone with knee injuries to him.

The DR and his staff were great with the exception of his receptionist. She was very rude about our insurance telling us we had a copay and if we didn’t pay it we would have to reschedule our appointment. We kept telling her we don’t have a copayment. We went round and round with her to the point of embarrassment. She finally got somebody else involved and she come to find out we don’t have a copayment. Everyone else there was very helpful.

I went to Dr. Prohaska after having another doctor tell me I needed surgery. Dr. Prohaska. reviewed my MRI and showed me how the damage was in a totally different place from where I am having pain. He saved me unneeded surgery and fixed my prob.

This was my first appointment with Dr.Prohaska and he was wonderful. He ran his own tests and read the MRI I brought with me, not just the report. Very positive and pleasant.

Dr. Prohaska is very professional. He does not try to encourage any type of procedures not necessarily. He tells you exactly what is wrong and gives you options. If asked what he would do in your situation he will tell you and explain why.

Within his 3 min talk with me he decided that I needed 6 weeks of PT. Even though I've had 4 months of PT. He insists that I have a locked shoulder, disregarded the MRI show 3 tears. I can move my shoulder it feels like fire & lightning.

While I appreciate conservative treatment, there comes a time in which the doctor and patient must agree using both their experience and knowledge. When two patients present exactly the same, one to surgery other goes home in severe pain for 3 mos. W

Horrible service. Each year it gets worse. My appt. was 130- they had me arrive 10min. early to update their paperwork. 2 HOURS later I still had not seen Dr. I left without seeing him. I sure hope they don't bill my insurance for Dr. visit.
