Been seeing Dr. D. Mesko for years. A couple of years ago, he replaced my right knee. Since then, I’ve put more than 10,000 cycling miles, 1,000 hiking miles and 100+ skiing miles on it, with no pain, swelling or any limitations. Very different, the repair of my femur in the same leg, which was performed by a much less skillful surgeon, is giving me quite some trouble. Dr. D. Mesko being THE best, I decided to accept the two hours drive and also put this challenge into his hands - and he accepted. Additionally my wife too has so become his patient. Thank you Dr. D. Mesko

He was the first doctor of several I saw, to take the time to accurately diagnose the cause of my excruciating pain; both hips were bone on bone. Dr Daniel Mesko is one of the Best and Brightest!!! After years of suffering with horrible hip pain and barely being able to walk anymore year and a half-2 years ago Dr Mesko gave me Cortisone Injections in both hips and it was miraculous!!! I could walk again!!! Just had bilateral injections again yesterday and same result. Thank you Dr Daniel Mesko!!!

Dr, Mesko diagnosed the problem and provided a treatment plan in less than an hour. My husband spent 5 days as an inpatient at McLaren, returned a few days later to the ER and was seen by an orthopedic doctor, who all failed identify infection. We are very grateful to Dr. Mesko for helping us to finally move forward with my husband’s care.

Dr Daniel Mesko is the best. I feel so much better after my hip replacement. He did a fantastic job, explained everything before the surgery, so I had no concerns. Took his time to make sure everything was done right. After kept in contact with me to make sure I was comfortable and things were going well. Dr. Mesko listened to my concerns as well as my frustrations to finally get a referral. He reviewed my hip MRI and knee x-rays with me and came up with a plan to start with an injection to address 3 irritated areas, some PT, and to come back in 6 weeks to see if there is any benefit. The office staff had professional reminders, the receptionist it’s was very friendly and engaging. She was very helpful filling out missing g I go and was very good at explaining everything. The medical assistant was very friendly and professional while gathering info. He was a good listener Dr Mesko was on time, polite, friendly and listened. He laid out the next steps in an understandable manner to me. I felt the first visit was much better that I expected it would be. The parking lot was up to date and easy to park. The entrance was clean and easy to locate. The elevator was pleasant and clean. The waiting room was clean and orderly. Everyone was polite and friendly.

It was my first time meeting Daniel. He was very professional and explained in detailed as to my medical situations.

As a surgeon he did what was needed for my k nee surgery. No one talked to my husband who was there during my surgery. We had to just assume all went well. We couldn’t het an answer from anyone at the office. Care after- horrible. Doesn’t respond to calls, getting an appointment is nearly impossible. I have felt that I didn’t matter once surgery was over. I had some big issues and sometimes it was 2 days before I got a return call.

I think that he could have explained how my issue will affect me in the coming years. He did a very good job of explaining what the problem is and how it can be treated now but never talked about how this may progress in the future or what the treatment could be in ten years or so.
