Dr. Daniel Mesko is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who returns to his hometown. He completed residency at the Cleveland Clinic and furthered pursued his interest in hip and knee adult reconstructive surgery with a fellowship at RUSH University Medical Center. He trained with many of the leading innovators in minimally invasive techniques, outpatient surgery and complex revision arthroplasty surgery. Dr. Mesko values engaging patients in education and active dialogue. Through shared decision making, he partners with patients to customize treatment plans that position them for optimal return to their desired lifestyle.

I am rarely genuinely impressed by people in the medical profession. But this guy's good! Excellent people skills, and I am confident that, medically, he knows his stuff.
Very professional and courteous
Broke a bone in my ankle. Calleds the next day, after going to ER. Appointment was a day later. Great routine and very organized and efficient. X-rays first. Excellent encounter then intake technician was next very thorough, professional and efficient. Dr. Daniel took enough time to explain things to me and show me where the fracture was. Put a boot on and the boot person was excellent and efficient. Left the office with a surgery date five days later. It can’t get any more professional, courteous. compassionate, efficient and timely than that. There is nothing more that a person can ask of health professionals. Thank you thank you thank you.

Wish I would’ve gotten my surgery sooner! Had a wonderful experience, Dr. Daniel Mesko is the best! Just do what you are told and you really shouldn’t have any problems. I think the hardest part was being committed to the physical therapy and post surgery instructions. I had a lot of support and that helped tremendously.
