Dr. Daniel Maxwell is a Carrollton native and a summa cum laude graduate of the University of West Georgia. Dr. Maxwell earned his medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. After residency, Dr. Maxwell completed a fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulfbreeze, Florida. The Andrews Institute, under the leadership and reputation of internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, provides a spectrum of services in order for patients to quickly and accurately address their orthopaedic needs.
Dr. Maxwell’s expertise in orthopaedics is not limited to foot & ankle. He also has extensive training and experience with all types of orthopedic related injuries, from knee pain to joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Maxwell is a graduate of Central High School (Lion Pride!) and the Maxwell family has extensive roots in the west Georgia region. Daniel and his wife, Kristen, have two boys and reside in Carrollton.

Doctor Maxwell was very nice, informative and made my very nervous daughter feel comfortable during her visit.
