A graduate of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Marchwiany completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a Harvard Medical School Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His intensive training through Harvard added a new dimension to the services offered at Murphy Wainer. Now, patients with severe joint deformities, debilitating arthritis, or failed joint replacement surgery can receive specialized care in the office from a surgeon with fellowship training in complex and revision hip and knee replacement. “Completing fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital allowed me to care for patients with very complex problems and severe diseases of the joints, who were referred from across the country and even internationally,” Dr. Marchwiany said. “I am pleased that I can share that knowledge, the advanced techniques I learned, and a high level of care with the Greensboro community.”

I never saw Dr Marchwiany. After being led to an examining room and asked several questions by the nurse I waited nearly an hour and no one came in to check on me so I left.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Marchwiany, and I must say, he is truly exceptional. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also incredibly caring. Don't be fooled by his humility – he really knows his stuff and has a wealth of experience. After my car accident, he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to recover properly. His team was also fantastic – super competent and always there to lend a helping hand.
Very courteous and professional. Staff is always reasonably pleasant. Wait times are getting a bit long is my only complaint.
