Dr. Levene joined Premier Bone & Joint Centers in 2002. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, Dr. Levene received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. He then went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Davis, in Davis, California. After his residency, Dr. Levene underwent a fellowship in sports medicine and knee and shoulder surgery of the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Levene serves as the orthopedist for Laramie High School. Additional sports coverage experience includes team physician duties for UW, head team orthopedist for Ft. Lewis College, and U.S. ski team. When not performing surgery or seeing patients in clinic, Dr. Levene enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Levene is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Always pleasant to talk to. He has never pressured me to have knee surgery like other healthcare providers. He let me chose to do steroid injections for as long as they worked then he told me we needed to discuss other options. Again never heard the words surgery. No-one ever wants to hear that word, but I knew what he meant. I have been going to Dr. Levene for over 20 yrs for my knees and it is finally time to replace the 2nd one after replacing the first one a year ago. He laid back and calm as he explained everything to me which made me feel at ease. Never rushes me out the door even when he is behind which he wasnt today. I have learned from personal experience that if a doctor is easy to get into it is a red flag. NEVER a red flag with him or any other physical with this clinic. Unless it's an emergency this is the place to go every time.
Dr Levene is a wonderful doctor. Very caring and understanding. He listens closely. Thank you for all you do.
