I feel that if I’m complaining about a particular pain from a car accident that caused very much bruising which caused a hematoma and pain on my thigh and side that a dr should physically touch where it is and where it hurts to feel before just saying it’s my back. I didn’t have this before my car accident.

He said he didn't see anything on the x-rays and proceeded to rush through the exam. He told me a hip doesn't go bad in two weeks. I told him the history of my other hip replacement, Which was reminiscent of what I'm going through now. It was not caused by arthritis but by steroid use. He did say the x-ray would not show 'degeneration' of the bone and asked me if I wanted an MRI. Of course I did. I need to find out why I have such pain in my hip. He then asked me if I wanted a Medrol dose pack. He told the nurse to order it as he walked out the door. I was looking for answers as to why I have been having such debilitating pain in my hip. I felt he was just dismissing my problem because he saw nothing on the x-ray.. I realize they were very busy that day but I didn't feel he gave me full attention. I did make an appt. for the MRI and hope on the 2nd visit he might be more helpful if he sees something.

Dr: Levene is awesome. He has taken care of our whole family and all of our sports related injuries. We are an active family and needless to say do have those unfortunate orthopedic injuries. Dr. Levene has a great bedside manner along with his staff … they gett you in quickly for those important appointments. Love Premier Bone and Joint!!

Dr Levene is a great Doctor, he is very conservative and doesn’t do surgery unless it is absolutely necessary! And if you do require surgery as I did ! He takes the time to explain everything in detail to what he was going to do, and what to expect afterwards! He’s a great doctor who knows what he’s doing and cares about his patients! I was nervous for this appointment. It seems any more doctors are so impersonal. BUT Dr Levene was very personable and made me feel like I mattered! He was awesome! I feel like he gave information straight up and was honest!

Still having issues with knee. Was told all looked good, yet never looking at me leg. I told him all I was experiencing & was told it had nothing to do with my fall. Everyone heals at different rates, I understand that. Yet I did not have these pains/issues until after my fall. He finally looked at my legs & still told me all was fine/no issues. He did not listen to me or my problems. I felt my pains were not important & felt dismissed. Like he wanted to hurry & be done with the appt. He then told me that I have big health issues & was grossly overly weight & have edema. I was taken aback & could not say anything. He felt the appt was done & he left the room, leaving me stunned/hurt & not all questions answered. I felt rushed once again. I started crying, by what he said. The nurse came in saw me & did not even ask me if I was okay. He had no right to call me overweight, he does not know me, my life, what I have gone through, what I have tried, my life/issues. He was out of line.

Two weeks ago I had a reverse shoulder replacement and couldn’t happier with the results and the progress. Dr Levine and his staff are a 12 on a 10 scale.

Dr. Levene is the only Orthopedic Doctor I will see. He is efficient, helpful, always explains everything.

I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. He mentioned further diagnostic testing, but told me that it’d be a “waste of time and money” to do so, and that was concerning to me. Treatment options were not discussed with me. The dr just TOLD me “this is what we’re going to do”. No discussion on whether or not I was comfortable with it. It wasn’t even offered as an option. Just “this is it”. There was no opportunity to voice questions or concerns. When I was trying to explain my injury, the dr kept interrupting. In general, I just DID NOT feel that my concerns, my feelings, or my discomfort were validated.

I have been a patient of Dr. Levene for many years. I compare other doctor's care to the care I get from Dr. Levene. So far no one compares. I appreciate that he listens to me and does not dismiss my concerns. He is professional, knowledgeable, and compassonate.

Identified problem, treated & referred in 15 minutes. Gave me opportunity to explain what I was feeling, what I had been doing about it & appreciated my wanting to make sure I wasn't aggravating something.

I would say that Dr Levene is not a great listener. He could have done a better job of listening to me and my issues but could not get out of the exam room quick enough. His nurse was great explaning the medication he prescribed.

He indicated he had no musical background whatsoever. I finally figured out why. It's because in life, he's SO GOOD at everything else, why would he need to be a proper musician, too? 😀 If you are considering Premier Bone & Joint, Dr. Levine will take very good care of you. And that's a promise. Oh, and Amy, his nurse, is fantastic, too.

Wow, I gotta say, my recent doctor's appointment with Dr. Levene was absolutely fantastic! It was hands down the best appointment I've ever had. First off, Dr. Levene was just so friendly. He had this warm and welcoming vibe that instantly put me at ease. It's not often you find a doctor who can make you feel comfortable right off the bat. And let's not forget about the staff. They were amazing too! They were kind and efficient. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars. I don't know the man personally. He was a referral. I came to his office because of pain in both knees. I was given an injection into my left knee, unfortunately the injection did not have its effect that I thought it would. I can endure a lot of pain without outward showing so, so maybe he didn't read my paperwork thoroughly. So he receives 4 stars based upon his professionalism but he missed the mark on his attention to detail and treating me like someone branding cows. I guess it's still all about the money and overhead.
