Although he specializes in hips and knees (both of which I have issues with) he referred me to a colleague ro have my back addressed first, which definitely has issues

Dr Cowley did my knee replacement. He is great. It wasn't fun when he bent my knee back, but he gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed to get through it. That truly meant a lot to me.

He explained the results of my MRI on my knee and recommended continuing cortisone shots and it's not bad enough for surgery

Not sure he understands the impact of my pain. His answer is to lose weight. And get more shots. I’m not sure losing weight is going to cure the arthritis in my hip.

I met Dr Cowley during an appointment with my wife. I was so impressed with him. He was very personable and caring yet very efficient and effective. While we were in that visit I mentioned my knee to him and after some discussion, he recommended I make an appointment, so I did, and I saw him yesterday! He's very smart and explains things well, but also listens to you. He's exactly what I want in a doctor and he will be doing a knee replacement sometime in August!

I'm very happy with my surgery. It's been 2 weeks and I have almost full range of motion. Hardly any pain now.
