We took our newborn to Dr. Hirselj for his circumcision and couldn’t be happier. He was so kind, funny, and down-to-earth. He made the whole experience feel comfortable and stress-free. He explained everything so well, and the procedure was super quick. Totally worth the hour drive to see him. We’d recommend him to any parent in a heartbeat!

He had great bedside manner with my 14 year old son. My son was uncomfortable for obvious reasons and he made him feel fine about the entire process. My son laughed about the visit the entire ride back home. Definitely recommend for Pediatric patients. There was no information that was kept secret, he was upfront and honest about the situation. He told us what to watch for moving forward. He was hilarious when he found out my 6'3", 210 pound son was a micro preemie. Thank you!

Dr. Daniel Hirselj at Northwest Urology made what could have been a scary day for my son into something relaxed and even a little fun. He joked with my son, kept the mood light, and explained the procedure in a way that took away all the nerves. We left the office smiling and that says a lot after a medical procedure! He’s not just skilled, he’s got the kind of humor and warmth that makes you feel like you’re in the best possible hands. Dr. Daniel Hirselj, M.D. was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1997. After completing his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Hirselj completed his internship and residency training in Urologic Surgery at Saint Louis University Hospital.
