Dr. Daniel Cullan II was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame, he returned to his hometown where he received his medical degree from Creighton University. He went on to do his Orthopaedic Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Additional training includes a Fellowship in Hand Surgery as well as Certification in Microsurgical Techniques at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

Dr. Daniel Cullan II was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame, he returned to his hometown where he received his medical degree from Creighton University. He went on to do his Orthopaedic Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Cullan began his orthopaedic career as an orthopaedic hand surgeon in San Diego, California (2006-2009) where he was also a volunteer physician for the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Being a Husker at heart, he returned to his roots to join Nebraska Orthopaedics in Lincoln.
Dr. Cullan enjoys golfing, running, snow skiing, soccer, and college football. He is married and has three children.

Dr. Cullen, was great today and very easy to talk to! It didn’t take him very long to provide options for my hand. I received a call the next day from his office to schedule my surgery!!

He gave me a cortisone injection in the painful area of my wrist. I barely felt the needle pierce my skin- and a little pressure from the medicinr...and w/fibromyalgia- I am highly sensitive. I have trust in his capabilities. Trust me.. I am not a trusting person. Very impressed with Dr. Cullan. I would say if I wasn't.
Very matter of fact and no b.s. doctor... will plan to see Dr Cullen for all my future ortho.
Dr Cullen is very courteous when he comes into the room. He gets down to business lets you know exactly how things have gone. And doesn't mince business who just gets to the point and let you know exactly where you're at and doesn't go over the top and tells you you know you don't need it or you need it so I really enjoy him.
