Dr. Daniel E. Choi, M.D., FAAOS, is a Harvard-trained, board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon and a nationally recognized leader in minimally invasive spine surgery. As the founder of Spine Medicine & Surgery of Long Island, he is dedicated to helping patients of all ages achieve relief from pain and disability with significantly reduced downtime.

Dr. Choi’s academic journey began at Northwestern University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology before being accepted into the highly competitive Honors Program in Medical Education at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers, the New Jersey Medical School, followed by a prestigious Combined Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Spine Surgery Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.
