Dr. Daniel Choi, M.D. is a fellowship-trained cataract and glaucoma specialist. He was born and raised in California and attended UCLA where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in physiology. After this, Dr. Choi went to Stanford University to complete his ophthalmology residency where he served as Chief Resident. He then returned back to UCLA as a clinical instructor and also completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Stein Eye Institute.
Dr. Choi is the founder of two non-profit organizations: Project Nicaragua and Project RISHI. These medical organizations focus on providing improved healthcare to the underserved international community. He has also been on multiple medical mission trips to Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Korea.
