Dr. Dane Todd was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he played fullback for the Huskers as a decorated college athlete. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Internship and Residency. Following residency, Dr. Todd completed a Fellowship at the University of Utah in knee, hip, and shoulder arthroscopy as well as shoulder replacement. During fellowship, he also worked with the University of Utah athletic teams and the Utah Jazz NBA development team.
As one of the team physicians for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the team physician for Lincoln Southeast High School, Dr. Todd specializes in the treatment of sports injuries of the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as shoulder replacements and general fracture care. He has also served as a hip arthroscopy specialist for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Todd enjoys fishing, duck and goose hunting, playing ice hockey and watching college football. He is married and has three children.

Dr. Todd repaired my rotator cuff. I am a 65-year-old woman and I was dreading the surgery. The surgery went good and the recovery went even better. I’m sure I’m an anomaly, but I had zero pain in recovery and I am already starting to expand my Mobility on the arm that was operated on. Thank you, Dr. Todd!
