Dr. Dane Todd was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he played fullback for the Huskers as a decorated college athlete. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Internship and Residency. Following residency, Dr. Todd completed a Fellowship at the University of Utah in knee, hip, and shoulder arthroscopy as well as shoulder replacement. During fellowship, he also worked with the University of Utah athletic teams and the Utah Jazz NBA development team.
As one of the team physicians for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the team physician for Lincoln Southeast High School, Dr. Todd specializes in the treatment of sports injuries of the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as shoulder replacements and general fracture care. He has also served as a hip arthroscopy specialist for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Todd enjoys fishing, duck and goose hunting, playing ice hockey and watching college football. He is married and has three children.

Very good experience overall for a pretty tough surgery and long recovery.
Great reverse shoulder surgery two weeks post surgery and doing great!
What a nice guy. Super good doc. He explains everything in English. The entire staff has been incredible. I usually get in before my scheduled time plus I have not had to wait. The nurses. The P A s. And Dr Todd are rock stars. I so appreciate their time.
Dr. Todd was extremely friendly, he explained the options for my treatment, we discussed pre and post operation conditions and the surgery as well as the recovery went exactly as explained! Thanks Dr Todd!!
