Dr. Dane Todd was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he played fullback for the Huskers as a decorated college athlete. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Internship and Residency. Following residency, Dr. Todd completed a Fellowship at the University of Utah in knee, hip, and shoulder arthroscopy as well as shoulder replacement. During fellowship, he also worked with the University of Utah athletic teams and the Utah Jazz NBA development team.
As one of the team physicians for the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the team physician for Lincoln Southeast High School, Dr. Todd specializes in the treatment of sports injuries of the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as shoulder replacements and general fracture care. He has also served as a hip arthroscopy specialist for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Todd enjoys fishing, duck and goose hunting, playing ice hockey and watching college football. He is married and has three children.

I had a nice visit with Dr. Todd and I was quite pleased with his mannerisms and he would always answer my questions.
Dr. Todd tells it like it is and is caring and works with you to find the best solution for you and your situation/lifestyle.
I love Dr Todd & his staff, they are so friendly & they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Very easy to talk to & very understanding if you have to take a phone call while in the office. Rarely happens but it has happened a few times
First time meeting Dr Todd. He’s fantastic. He really listens and cares. He diagnosed the issue and saved me a surgery but offered other options. What a great doctor. Liked his PA too.
